SPUD DAY!!

Jalissa and I went and participated in the "Spud Day" activities today. I got to spend some of the time with my aunt Kathy Redd and my cousin Janet Hall at the parade. They were here for Janet's class of 1970 reunion. They got their old singing group back together to perform at the reunion to be held at the Shilo Inn tonight. It was good to see them and catch up. They had a good time reminiscing about spud days past and people they recognized in the parade. Kathy made the comment that it was nice to be able to come back where it just felt like coming "home" where there is good people and a wholesome environment. She said whenever they have something like this in Vegas that the conversation usually centers around which part of their body they wanted to tattoo or pierce next. We really do have a good community and good people.

Good times what a great tradition!! Oh and I did go and get a free baked spud something I haven't done in years. It was great!
